HARMAN WINES

Harman Wines is a boutique family owned and run vineyard and winery in Wattle Bank, not far from Inverloch, Wonthaggi and Kongwak.

David and Nicole purchased the blank 10 Acre property in 2004, planting our first vines in 2006, with further plantings in 2011, 2013 and 2016.  In 2012 we commenced building of our winery and cellar door and were very pleased to finally open our doors to customers in late 2014.

Our name Harman Wines – reflects where we come from – Harman being our surname

Our cellar door is open daily in January and on weekends throughout the year.

We hand craft on site a number of different premium cool climate wine varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Rose Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Merlot, with David as the sole wine maker.

We serve wood fired pizzas every Sunday and have regular local live musicians playing music and entertaining our guests on weekends at the Cellar Door.

Owned and operated by David and Nicole Harman along with their two children we are truly a family run business.  

David’s primary focus is on the vineyard and winery and is the winemaker while Nicole is often seen behind the cellar door and concentrates on the marketing side of the business. 

Open weekends 11am-5pm and daily in January

Customers can enjoy either a glass or a bottle of one of our premium wines, or we also stock local beers and ciders, spirits, non-alcoholic drinks and barista made coffees and teas.

But more than a winery, we pride ourselves on being a hub for regional produce being offered at our Cellar door. We stock local and homemade produce, and have these in our popular cheese platters, tasting plates and graziers platters.

We have built our own pizza oven on site and now offer wood fired pizzas every Sunday and over long weekends.

We regularly have local musicians playing music and entertaining our guests on weekends at the Cellar Door

We have created our facility to accommodate our visitors either inside in front of the wood fired heater (or in Summer the air conditioned comfort), or outside under the pergola while enjoying the tranquil views.

Our Cellar Door and surrounds have become a popular location for special events and functions including birthday celebrations, engagement parties, work functions, Christmas breakups and hen’s days.  awards.
